Located at the northeastern end of Doha, Onaiza is a district offering proximity to Doha’s new central business district. Onaiza is located next to Lusail, Qatar’s newest planned city and site of the 80,000-seat Lusail Iconic Stadium, in construction for the opening and final matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The earthTV camera also captures a portion of Katara Cultural Village, a world-class artistic development designed to promote multicultural understanding. Katara includes the headquarters for many artistic organizations as well as performance venues including an amphitheatre, cinema, and opera house. Doha, the capital of Qatar and its most populous city, is home to nearly a million people. It serves as the commercial capital of Qatar and as one of the Middle East’s prime financial centers.
