Over 1 Billion people celebrate Ramadan all around the world! In some parts of the world, it is also called Ramazan, Ramadhan or Ramathan.

Ramadan (رمضان) is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, and considered a blessed period among Muslims worldwide. They observe it as a month of fasting during the day, called Sawm (صوم), reading the Quran and make special prayers, called Salah (صلاة). People also give more alms, called Zakāt (زكاة‎‎ ) and abstain from all bad deeds. At the end of the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world enjoy a three-day holiday known as Eid al-Fitr.

Inspired by this, earthTV produces exclusively a 30-day non-stop live stream, connecting all our cameras with up-to-date local prayer times between March10th and April 9th, 2024.
