Jakarta is the capital and also the largest city of Indonesia, located on the northwestern coast on the island of Java. The earthTV camera is installed on top of the Deutsche Bank building - right in the heart of the busy Thamrin district. Many national and international companies and banks have settled in this district and most of the foreign embassies are located in this area. Among the sights of Jakarta are the Independence Square (Merdeka) and the National Monument (Monas).
