Geographic Information
The Kingdom of Belgium is divided into three regions: Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels. The country is bordered by France, Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands and enjoys 65 km's of North Sea coastline. A portion of the fertile, coastal land (known as the Polders of Belgium) has been reclaimed from the sea and is defended by dikes. One of the most important European ports is located in Antwerp.
