The earthTV camera shows Amsterdam with all its charm: Bridges arch over the water, some of them opening for tall water traffic. In winter, the locals dust off their ice skates, children and dogs scramble around and vendors sell hot chocolate, mulled wine and soup. Among the sights of Amsterdam are the house of Anne Frank and the Van Gogh Museum.

Geographic Information
Almost half of the Netherlands is below sea level, with many rivers, canals and large sea inlets. Very little forest remains with most of the land used for agriculture. The higher areas barely reach a height of 50 metres above sea level and are very flat. The country is bordered by the North Sea, Belgium and Germany.
