In our summer beach special contest you are awarded with double points if you visit our summer locations. However, you have to find out which of those locations are eligible. Pay attention to the miles counter above the player. It will show you a notification when you discover one. The contestant with the most miles in the end will win the brand new iPhone 4. Needless to say the phone is SIM-free, so you can use it with the network carrier of your choice. And that is about everything there is to it. So don't waste any more time. How it works
Discover the world on earthTV.com – touch down in major European cities like Paris, London or Berlin, explore the African continent or the dreamlike beaches of Dubai, Cebu and Hawaii. Down Under is just waiting for you, as is New York’s iconic skyline and L.A's famous Muscle Beach. With each click on an earthTV camera location, miles will be credited to your miles account – providing you watch the video for at least 10 seconds. You will receive miles equivalent to the flight distance between the two locations. Some locations are considered the most beautiful summer locations of earthTV. The miles to one of those locations will be counted double. Whether you reached one of those destinations or not will be displayed on the miles counter above the player. The contestant who has collected the most miles on October 1, 18:00 o’clock, will be declared the miles champion and win a great prize – like a brand-new iPhone 4.
Rules of the game
With each click on an earthTV camera location, you will be credited with miles. The mileage credited is calculated on the linear distance between locations. Some destinations are considered as summer locations and miles to those will be counted double. To earn the miles, you must remain in each camera location for at least 10 seconds. The timer begins as soon as you start watching the first video.
