MILES: 
Collect Miles
On earthTV.com you can watch videos from different parts of the world. With just one click you can move from continent to continent, visit the next location and travel around the globe. To show the distance you travel, we developed a "miles counter". You can find it in the header of earthTV.com.
If you're watching a Sydney video and move on to New York, we credit you the miles of the linear distance between the two locations. If you watch a video that can't be assigned on a map (like "The world LIVE"), you'll get a fixed number of miles. If you visit a page without a video (like the blog), you'll be credited no miles. Anyhow, the miles counter will remember the last video you watched and start counting from this location, if you watch another video.
If you are a registered user and if you are logged in, your miles will be stored and you can continue collecting miles on your next visit. If you aren't registered or logged in, your miles won't be stored and you have to start from scratch on your next visit. But there's a remedy: register on earthTV.com, join our international community and collect miles!

your cameras shows every day exctly the identical view ? even the people hanging arroud are every day and night the same ones ... are there some registrated videos you show every day, 24/7 ??

Our cameras show different views each day - maybe you watched videos from a camera that's out of order right now? Which camera do you refer to?

The camera in Amsterdam isn't out of order, you can see the local time of the clips in the top right corner of the video. If the clip is older or the camera is out of order, you can see the date and time of the video clip in the top right corner. Please check yourself, if the cameras you're watching are producing clips right now.

Well, some of the cameras have live images - you can see a "LIVE" on top of the player.

I know I wouldn't have won but if miles are being re-set, then other people who should be in the drawing for top prize may be omitted. Plus, if I was right outside the top ten, isn't it possible that if someone didn't respond to a prize notification, I could win?

Hey - when the contest ended, I had over 12,500,000 miles and was in 11th or 12th place . . . now, my miles reverted to 8,712,300 and I'm in 27th place. What happened? Can you fix it?

Please help as i am having a hard time watching the streaming videos......and when I try to access the stream 5 site to see if i need plugins or any other remedy....i find that it is written in German...and my oh my i do not read nor speak in the language......any help would be appreciated.....ps i can view the time lapse and the world live videos....just elive feeds that are problematic

i thought it was going to be a nice way to start the summer, probably my last, but it turned out to be a contest to see who could push buttons the fastest and i'm just not good enough to keep up, no hard feelings to all but with little time left i can find better ways to spend my time.
