Knysna ist einer der beliebtesten Urlaubsorte an der Küste des Südlichen Kap und ist Teil der 'Garden Route'. Die Stadt liegt einzigartig an einer Lagune zwischen Wäldern und Meer. Die Lagune hat einen beachtlichen Tidenhub, der durch die earthTV broadcast camera mitverfolgt werden kann.
