Bergwelt der DolomitenDer Ort Canazei befindet sich im Fassatal inmitten der atemberaubenden Bergwelt der Dolomiten. Canazei war einst der ärmste und ist heute der renommierteste Ort des Fassatales. Vom Ortszentrum aus erreicht man mit der Gondelbahn, Canazei/Pecol das Skigebiet Belvedere/Col Rodella und den Anschluß ans Skikarussell Sellaronda. The spine of Italy is the Apennine Mountain Range, which spreads to either side into rolling hills extending everywhere to the shores of the country. The Po River valley in the northeast in the country's largest lowland. Occasional earthquakes and three active volcanoes, Stromboli in the Aeolian Islands, Vesuvius near Naples and Etna on Sicily, cause havoc from time to time.
